President Zelenskyy of Ukraine says Russian forces had outnumbered his troops in Severodonetsk

President Zelenskyy issued a warning that Russian Forces had outnumbered his troops in the eastern city of Severodonetsk a key city in Ukraine’s eastern Donbass region.

Zelenskyy said street fighting and constant Russian artillery bombardments turned Severodonetsk and Lysychansk into “dead cities.”

Russia said it’s in full control of the residential area of Severodonetsk.

In the Donbas region, Ukrainian soldiers are getting injured every day, according to President Zelenskyy. The Russian forces are using heavy artillery, resulting in many blast injuries.

Russia’s UN Ambassador walked out of a meeting of the Security Council after the EU’s Charles Michel blamed the invasion of Ukraine for causing a global food crisis.

At the event hosted by the Financial Times on Tuesday, Zelenskyy said he is happy that Boris Johnson remains as Prime Minister.

“I am very happy. He is a true friend of Ukraine.”
