The actor Ekta Jain, who has acted in numerous TV series and Bollywood films, including Shagun, Apun To Vaise Hi, Khali Bali, Zindagi Ek Shatranj, and Trahimaam, enjoys each holiday with great fervour. The actor has planned to wear nine different outfits for the nine days of Navratri this year.

She intends to dress as each of Goddess Durga’s nine avatars. The actor has put in a great deal of time, energy, devotion, and research into it.

Devotees worship Goddess Durga’s nine avatars during these nine days. Each form of Maa Durga has its own particular glory and significance.

Ekta first dressed herself as Maa Shailputri who is worshipped on the first day of Navratri. The actor then dressed as Devi Brahmacharini,  who is referred to as Brahmacharini because she had undergone intense penance to win Lord Shiva’s consent to marriage. On the third day of Navratri, people worship Goddess Chandraghanta, Ekta dressed herself like her. It combines the abilities of Mahesh, Vishnu, and Brahma. Because of the crescent moon adorning her brow, Goddess Chandraghanta is worshipped on the third day of Navratri.

Kushmanda Mata, the another form of Goddess Durga, is worshipped on the forth day of Navratri. Her energy radiates throughout the universe when there will be darkness. Skandamata was the Maa’s form in the fifth form. She had Skanda, or Kartikeya, lying in her lap. Maa transforms into Katyayani in the sixth form, teaching us that it’s still important to fulfil your responsibilities as a mother.

While dressing up as Durga’s form, Ekta said, Kaalratri is an avatar, which scares the demons and she was thrilled to dress up like her. After that, it was exciting to dress up as Mahagauri, who is the protector of everyone. She defeats demons as well. Ekta further said, lastly, she put on the costume as Siddhidatri. The actor said she was delighted to learn about and investigate all of Navdurga’s forms, and she made an effort to get dress herself in each avataar.

As soon as Ekta dropped the pictures on Instagram, people praised her efforts and taking to comment section a user said, she is bringing the divine energy, another said she looks beautiful. Other also dropped red hear and folded hand emoji in the comment section.
