In a harrowing incident, a 13-year-old Student from Madhya Pradesh was beaten up with a plastic pipe by his teachers from a coaching institute in Gwalior. The 13-year-old is an 8th grade student. He was allegedly beaten up for not doing Maths homework.

The teachers have been identified as Abhishek, Sanket and Rahul. The three teachers made the minor lie on the table before beating him up. Reportedly, a case has been lodged against the five people, including the coaching institute director.

According to the police concerned with the matter, teacher Abhishek grabbed the student’s legs and Sanket held his hands. Meanwhile, Rahul beat him up with a plastic pipe. Speaking about the traumatizing incident, the 13-year-old student mentioned that he was threatened with death if he told anyone about the incident.

As far as reports are concerned, the incident took place on September 2 when the minor student went to his coaching institute, The Prime Classes, at 4 pm without completing his Maths homework. A case of assault and violation of the Juvenile Justice Act was lodged against coaching director Chandrakant Mishra, co-director Prem Sharma, teacher Abhisek, Rahul Gurjar and Sanket Bharti.

In another similar incident that took place on August 17, Delhi Police registered a case against a teacher for allegedly beating up a class 6 student for not bringing his Hindi book to the school. The incident occurred in the Dayalpur police station area of the national capital. Reportedly, the student was thrashed so badly that he was hurried to the hospital and his condition was said to be deteriorating. 

According to the complaint pertaining to the matter, the accused teacher asked about the Hindi book but upon admitting that he hadn’t carried it to the school that day, the student got up from his seat to leave the classroom. However, the teacher then allegedly blocked his way and slapped him and even choked the students neck.
