Bollywood actor Disha Patani takes her first step in the director’s shoes. She is stepping into the world of directing with her debut music video, Kyun Karu Fikar. Disha dropped the teaser for her music video which stars her. She revealed that the full music video will be released on August 21.

In her caption for the teaser on Instagram, she talked about the mystery of life and how the future is unknown and that self-love is the key, it is the magic we have always known. The name of the song translates to why to worry? The single music video talks about being carefree and not worrying.

It is melodiously sung by Nikita Gandhi, composed and produced by Vaibhav Pani while Vayu has written the lyrics. The song also comprises a voiceover of Disha Patani.

Reacting to her latest breakthrough, her rumoured-to-be ex-boyfriend’s mother Ayesha Shroff said, Wow! Congratulations deeeshu! in her comments section. Her best friend Mouni Roy, too congratulated her. Disha’s rumoured boyfriend Aleksandar Alex Ilic also commented on her post saying Congratulations Chiksi.

Fans have missed Disha in films for quite a while. Ek Villain Returns, released last year, was the last film she was seen in. Starring John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, and Tara Sutaria and helmed by Mohit Suri, the film poorly failed at the box office. It received plenty of criticism from critics as well as the viewers of the film.

As for her upcoming projects, she will be seen in Karan Johar’s Yodha alongside Sidharth Malhotra also starring Raashii Khanna. Yodha is set to release in theatres on 15 December 2023 after several delays. There are more debuts Disha will be making besides Kyun Karu Fikar. She is set to make her Tamil debut with Kanguva alongside Suriya and a leading ensemble cast starring Bobby Deol, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K.S. Ravikumar, and B.S. Avinash.

She is also going to be a part of a futuristic film releasing next year, Project K. The directorial debut of Nag Ashwin will be starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas.
