Celebrated singer Sonu Nigam marked his 50th birthday on Saturday with a grand party attended by friends and colleagues from the music industry. Among the celebrities seen at the event were Anup Jalota, Mika Singh, Satish Shah, Jackie Shroff, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Sudesh Bhosale, and Rahul Vaidya, among others. Interestingly, Bhushan Kumar, the head of T-Series and someone with whom Sonu had a feud in 2020, was also present at the celebration.

Videos and pictures from the party surfaced on various social media platforms. One clip, shared by a paparazzo account on Instagram, captured the moment when Sonu and Bhushan embraced, exchanged greetings, laughed, and engaged in a conversation. During the celebration, Sonu cut a large birthday cake while Bhushan and other guests surrounded him and sang the birthday song.

Throughout the party, Sonu was seen singing and entertaining his guests, including Sachin, Mika, and Sudesh. Another guest at the bash was MNS chief Raj Thackeray, who wrapped a red and golden shawl around Sonu, presented him with a flower bouquet, and posed for pictures with him and the paparazzi.

Notably, in 2020, Sonu had posted a video on social media issuing a warning to Bhushan Kumar, mentioning him by name. He reminded Bhushan of past incidents when Bhushan had approached him for producing an album and seeking introductions to influential figures like Subrata Roy, Smita Thackeray, and Bal Thackeray. Bhushan had also sought help to protect himself from Abu Salem.

Additionally, Sonu had shared a video on YouTube discussing favouritism in the music industry, where a few major music labels wield considerable power. He spoke about the obstacles faced by newcomers due to the influence of these labels and urged everyone, especially music companies, to be kinder. Sonu emphasized that the music industry had a more significant mafia than the film industry and mentioned the unfortunate demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput as an example of the harsh realities faced by artists.
