A video is doing rounds on the internet wherein a man can be seen strangling a Stray Dog and therefore, killing it.

Animal activist Mita Malwankar shared the video on Twitter and claimed that the accused is an employee of Mira Bhaindar Municipal Corporation who strangled the dog, bit its eyes, and tied its hands and feet with a stick.

The activist also informed that a group of men also killed the dog’s puppies and is making it difficult for stray dogs to stay in the neighbourhood.

This is not the first time when such incidents have come to light. Earlier, a man was caught raping a female dog in the broad daylight in Bihar’s Patna. The Incident caught attention after the video was shared by an animal lover Priya Dhotre on Instagram.

The incident took place in March and a police complaint was filed against the accused with the Phulwari Sharif Police Station in Patna.

A similar incident took place in Delhi in Indrapuri area of JJ Colony. Reports said a man was caught raping a female dog following which an FIR was filed under Sections 377 and 11 of the Animal Act at Indrapuri police station. The accused was nabbed by the police.
