Television actor Krishna Mukherjee, popularly known for playing Aliya in Yeh Hain Mohabbatein, married her long-time beau Chirag Batliwalla in a traditional Bengali ceremony in Goa on Monday. Chirag is a cruise deck ship officer.

The actor shared a series of photos from her dreamy wedding on her Instagram account. One of the pictures shows Krishna holding Chirag’s face as they sit in a mandap post-sunset. The caption read, And the Bengali girl tied the knot for life with the Parsi Sailor. We seek your blessings & love on our big day.

Krishna opted for a red and white traditional Bengali bride lehenga and accessorized her look with pearl and Kundan jewellery. While Chirag wore a traditional Bengali groom outfit, kurta, dhoti, and topor.

The couple tied the knot in the presence of her friends and family. Actors Aly Goni, Shireen Mirza, Anita Hassanandani, Jasmin Bhasin, Charu Mehra, Karan Patel and several other television actors attended the wedding.

Pavitra Punia, Neena Kulkarni, Vishal Pandey, Ridhima Pandit, Surbhi Jyoti, Pooja Gor, Sweety Walia and other television actors congratulated the couple and blessed them for their happily ever after.

Krishna also shared a video from her bachelorette in Thailand. She slipped into a short silver dress as she partied with her girlfriends on a beach.

In November last year, Krishna shared a video from her engagement in a Christian wedding setup. Krishna wore a white gown without a veil and climbed the stairs to meet Chirag, who was waiting for her at the top in his sailor’s uniform. Sharing the video, Krishna wrote, Watching you stand alone. All of my doubts suddenly go away somehow. One step closer. How time flies.
