While addressing a public rally in Tripura, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday announced that the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be ready on January 1, 2024. Amit Shah also blamed Congress for hindering the Ram Temple construction case in the courts since independence.

Shah also said that the Supreme Court passed the verdict for the construction of the Ram Mandir after Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power. Shah added that the construction of the temple started soon after the Supreme Court gave its verdict.

Shah, who arrived in Agartala on Wednesday night to flag off two rath yatras in the northeastern state, said Rahul baba, listen from Sabroom, that a mammoth Ram Mandir will be ready on January 1, 2024.

The home minister even urged the public gathered at the rally to book early tickets as the sky-high Ram Temple will stand ready at Ayodhya on January 1, 2024.

In November 2022, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the temple, whose foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Modi on August 5, had reached the halfway point and would be completed by December of this year.

Last year in October, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ayodhya and offered prayers to Ram Lalla at the Shri Ramjanmabhoomi site. During his visit to the city, he also inspected the Ram temple construction site to launch the grand Deepotsav celebrations on the banks of the Sarayu river.

Amit Shah also launched the Jan Vishwas Yatra in an effort to broaden the BJP’s support base in Tripura ahead of the state’s assembly elections this year.
