Bollywood actor Karthik Aryan was till now seen in the avatar of a chocolate boy, but now the actor has chosen to change that notion. With films like Dhamaka and Freddy, Karthik Aaryan is not only breaking the stereotype build around him but is also impressing the critics.

His latest film Freddy released last night on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar, where he can be seen playing the character of a dentist whose life is a secret. The psychological thriller film Freddy is directed by Shashank Ghosh. Apart from Karthik, the film also stars Alaya F and the fresh movie review from the audiences are out.

Seems like Kartik Aaryan has done it again as the viewers seems impressed with Freddy. Some might have agreed that the story line could have had a better pace but not only the critics but also the audience has applauded Aaryan’s performance in the film.

Freddy movie is written by Parvez Shaikh. It is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, NH Studios and Northern Lights Films. The story revolves around Freddy Ginwalla (played by Karthik Aaryan), who is a shy and socially awkward dentist, but believes that he has found his soul mate in Kainaz Irani (played by Alaya F).

However, when she betrays him, he sets out to seek revenge. And the route he choses to take his revenge, is the core plot of Freddy. Karthik has been emotionally attached to his character. he even increased his weight by 14 kilos for this film.

On Kartik Aaryan’s work front, he will next be seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha. Apart from Kartik, Kiara Advani will also be seen in this film. Along with this, Kartik has films like Aashiqui 3, Shehzada opposite Kriti Sanon and Captain India lined up. Kartik was last seen in super hit film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
