A 40-year-old property trader was attacked by miscreants who hit him with sticks and rods in Jaipur. The businessman died on Thursday morning during treatment. The body has been kept in the mortuary of SMS Hospital.

The attackers arrived in three cars and waylaid the trader, who was also in his car. All of sudden, they hit his car by theirs and before he could understand anything, he was thrashed. The incident got recorded in the CCTV camera installed nearby.

Police investigation revealed that before Diwali, there was a fight between the two sides over some issue in a hotel. The attack was carried out on Wednesday to avenge this.

Meanwhile, Satyendra, the younger brother of deceased said that his brother Vijendra called him at 5 pm on Wednesday, asking him to immediately reach the near Life Line Dental Clinic.

He told his younger brother that he was attacked with rods, knives, swords and hammers. However, when the younger brother reached the spot immediately, he found his brother was lying on the road in a pool of blood. He had sustained injuries on his head, arms and legs.

The injured was immediately rushed admitted to Marudhar Hospital. He was later referred to SMS Hospital as his condition became critical.

What was the feud about?

According to Satyendra, his elder brother had told him that Jitendra Huldani, Sagar Singh, Ravindra Khandi, arrived in cars and attacked him. Vijendra’s younger brother Satyendra has filed a case of named murder against Jitendra Huldani, Sagar Singh, Ravindra Khandi and others at Kardhani police station.

At around 5 pm on Wednesday evening, property trader Vijendra Singh Gulab (40), a resident of Kardhani area, was going towards his house from his car. Suddenly three cars stopped in front of his car. As soon as Vijender took the car backwards, armed miscreants hit the car and after that they attacked Vijendra by breaking the glass.

On receiving information about the incident, ACP Kardhani Pramod Swamy also reached the spot. He met Vijendra. The doctors told that the injured was not able to do any kind of movement yet. Vijender had multiple fractures in his feet. There were also injuries on his head at many places.

Incident caught on CCTV camera

ACP Pramod Swami said that Vijender Singh is having a dispute with some people regarding the property. That’s why he was attacked. Police have found some CCTVs from the spot. On the basis of that, raids are being conducted at many places in the area to nab the miscreants.

According to ACP Pramod Swami, more than half a dozen miscreants including Jitendra Singh, resident of Parbatsar in Nagaur, Sagar Singh, resident of Jhotwara, Bhagwan Singh Tatarpur and Ajay Singod attacked Vijender. Special teams of Kardhani and Jhotwara police stations are searching for the miscreants.
