Cricket lovers must be remembering Late cricketer Shane Warne thrashing England side for not using more than one spinner at flat pitch last June against New Zealand. England grounds like Edgbaston and Gabba are flat pitches which are more favorable to the spinner but during the first four Test matches against England even Indian spinners had just warmed the bench.

But seems like this time India has also learned its lesson and if reports are to be believed then, two spinners will be added to the IND vs ENG last Test match against England. Head coach Rahul Dravid has hinted that finally R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja will get to have their spells at the decider match against the hosts.  

But still the most compelling factor would be their form. While Ravindra Jadeja is returning from his injury and even prior to that he didn’t have much to show during his tenure of IPL 2022. But the break was timely as during the practice game, he seems to have rediscovered his first-class groove.

On the other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin was the part of the infamous Gabba Test win. But people will be certainly looking forward to his Tetchy with the bat and ball both. And if these cricketers have got b ack their Midas touch then England batting order is definitely going to have a tough time. The Birmingham grounds are more flat and talented spinners like Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin will have the perfect opportunity to execute their plans.

The fifth and the final Test match of India tour of England will begin from July 1. And after Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma Tested positive for Covid-19, after 35 and Indian fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah is all set to lead the Indian side in a Test match. However, BCCI is yet to make the official confirmation.
