The two most successful teams in the history of Indian Premier League, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are in a huge mess this season. Soon after the Mega Auction 2022, the fans of both the teams were a bit skeptical about their team’s formation and its players. And seems like their fear came true. Both the teams are struggling to register their first win in IPL 2022 and are placed at the last two positions, respectively.
Last night was a nightmare for the fans of CSK and MI and Twitter is filled with their reactions. Where some are calling out the owner to help the team, rest shared memes and expressed their grief. A user asked for a miracle to happen, while another user sarcastically wrote, “only Arjun Tendulkar can save his team now.” A fan still showed faith in both the teams and wrote, “Am I the only one who still believing that IPL 2022 final will happen between MI and CSK?”

What does appear to be a problem with Chennai Super Kings is that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is no more the captain of the yellow army. And filling in the shoes of Thalaiva is not an easy job. The newly appointed captain Ravindra Jadeja is still dealing with the burden of captaincy after CSK lost their 4th game straight and the numbers aren’t doing justice to the all-rounder’s claim at all.
Whereas, the IPL team lead by the Indian Captain Rohit Sharma seems to be lacking in the bowling department. Mumbai Indian’s still working on finding a replacement for Boult. Sadly, it’s too late as the team just lost it’s fourth match last night. Rohit Sharma can’t just rely on Jaspreet Bumrah for wicket, the other bowler will have to gear up and take the responsibility.
