After being postponed for almost 2 years and changing the release date twice, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan’s starrer Laal Singh Chaddha finally gets a release date. The film will be released on April 14.

Earlier, there were speculations of releasing the movie in February but now it has been postponed to Baisakhi 2022.

Aamir Khan Productions and Kareena Kapoor Khan took to their Instagram handle to share this news with their fans.

They captioned the photo- we are happy to share our new poster and our new release date 🙂

The poster captures the chemistry between the lead stars. Kareena is leaning on Aamir Khan and the latter is giving Kareena a side look. Aamir Khan can be seen dressed up as a Sikh with a turban and long beard while Kareena looks simple yet beautiful in a suit.

Just after its release date was announced, fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to get released. One of the users commented, “new blockbuster is on the way”, while the other wrote, “waiting to see in the theatre”.

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are sharing the screen space together after Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots.

Shot in over 100 locations including Punjab, Ladakh and Turkey, the film will trace events in Indian history that have occurred throughout the years and will be linked with Laal’s aka Aamir’s journey.

The film is the adaptation of the six-time Academy Award-winning film Forest Gump.

Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Secret Superstar fame Advait Chauhan, produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Viacom18 Studios. The songs of this film are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Pritam.

The film also stars Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh. 

This movie will witness the clash with the Indian Kannada-language period drama action film KGF 2.
