An 8-year-old, Mohammad Haroon Suria, penned a heartfelt letter to Pakitani skipper Babar Azam explaining his reaction to the game and his love for the Pakistan team.

The hand-written letter shared by a journalist on Twitter has gone viral now.

In her letter addressed to Pakistan skipper, she wished that the team would go on to win the tournament in the coming year. In an extremely humble manner, Suri also requested Babar to sign and send the autographs of the entire team.

In her letter, the she said Well played everyone, nice batting, bowling. She was very confidemnt before the start of the semifinal against Aistralia but she was got nervous in the middle and even freigtened at the ened, suria wrote.

On her fan’s request, Azam wrote an absolutely beautiful reply in which he showcased his desire to get the young fan’s autograph. Addressing her fan as the future captain, he also accepted Suri’s request for an all-team autograph.

The Skipper’s heart warming response won millions of hearts on social media while many hailing it as a move befitting that of a humble and grounded captain who was a true leader in every right.

Azam had earlier backed Hasan Ali when a journalist questioned the dropped catch at a crucial stage of the semi-final, a move which was lauded my many.

Despite a tough fight by Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup, it wasn’t an ideal end for the team. However, the spirt of cricket is alive and kicking, all thanks to fans who love and cherish players no matter the outcome.
