India’s first secretary Sneha Dubey responds to Pakistan PM Imran Khan’s remark on Kashmir, says vacate all areas under illegal occupation

At the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), India’s first Secretary Sneha Dubey gave a befitting reply to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement on Kashmir. In the reply, Sneha Dubey said that Pakistan should vacate all the illegally occupied areas of India.

In the address, she said that entire UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh were, are and will always be integral and inalienable parts of India. She further said that Pakistan should vacate all areas under its illegal occupation as soon as possible.

Earlier, Pakistan PM Imran Khan on Friday said that Pakistan wants peace with India and the sustainable peace in South Asia is contingent upon the resolution of the Jannu and Kashmir dispute. In his statement, he said that the onus remains on India to create a conducive environment for meaningful and result-oriented engagement with Pakistan.

Sneha Dubey on Friday also said that India will exercise its right to reply to Pakistan PM to tarnish the image of this August forum, by bringing in matters internal to India and going so far as to spread falsehoods on the world stage.

She further said that regrettably, this is not the first time when Pakistan PM used a platform provided by the UN to propagate false and malicious propaganda against India. Dubey also said that because of Pakistan the lives of minority communities turn upside down.

Dubey also talked about the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attack in which she said that all of us marked the solemn occasion of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks a few days back. The world has not forgotten that the mastermind behind that dastardly event, Osama Bin Laden, got shelter in Pakistan. Even today, Pakistan leadership glorify him as a martyr.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time when India hit back at Pakistan for such statements. Earlier, in 2020, India responded to Pakistan’s statements and asked United Nations for the floor to exercise the right to reply.
