Chris Gayle tweets ‘going to Pakistan tomorrow’, fans confused, Mohammad Amir responds

Chris Gayle aka Universe Boss who does not shy away from sharing his views and opinions on issues tweeted a one-liner on Sunday. His tweet is now viral on social media, fans and the cricketers are expressing their views on it while some are busy with making memes.  

Gayle tweeted that he is leaving for Pakistan and also asked who wants to accompany him as well. His tweet comes two days after the first ODI between the Babar Azam-led side and New Zealand was called off due to security concerns.

Reacting to Gayle’s comment, Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir replied that see you there legend.

Pakistan is currently in the news as the series between Pakistan and New Zealand was called off due to security issues.

However, at this juncture, Gayle’s tweet has left the fans confused.

Reacting to Gayle’s tweet, fans are asking that whether he will be played in the second leg of IPL while others have put a meme showing Gayle going to Pakistan and also playing IPL at the same time.

While other fans wondered whether Gayle will feature in the IPL this year, yet another fan asked Gayle not to play some weird prank on the fans as the ‘Pakistan issue’ is a highly sensitive one.

Two days after New Zealand’s decision to abandon their Pakistan tour hours before the first ODI citing security reasons, a tweet of West Indies opener Chris Gayle has caught attention from the cricketing world on Sunday morning.

After New Zealand’s sudden decision to call off the first ODI match against Pakistan on September 17, some players also came out in support of Pakistan.

Most of them were Caribbean players who were playing CPL and West Indies’ explosive batsman Chris Gayle is also one of them.

Earlier in a Facebook post, former Caribbean skipper Daren Sammy have also backed the Pakistan cricket team.
