Every year Indian Women celebrate Karva Chauth with passion. This year Karva Chauth will be celebrated on 4th November 2020. It is a popular festival from Northern India, mostly celebrated in UP, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.  The word Karva is taken from Hindi word “Karva” that means a small earthen pot, and “Chauth”, means “fourth”, denoting the time when the festival occurs.

Women fast the whole day as a wish for the long life of their husbands. Fasting the whole day is not an easy task–And among this all, women have to be prepared for the worship and the rituals. Therefore, breaking fast with the best possible dishes after moonsighting seems much fair.
