Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gully Boy filmmaker Zoya Akhtar played host to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos at an event organized by Amazon Prime Video on Thursday in Mumbai.

Dressed in a white and floral white coat, Bezos made his first public appearance with his girlfriend and actress Lauren Sanchez.

At the event, the 56-year-old billionaire indulged in a conversation with Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar. In a video shared by Riteish Deshmukh on Twitter, Bezos was seen reciting Shahrukh Khan’s famous dialogue from the movie Don, “Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai”.

The Bollywood superstar also shared a picture with Bezos and Akhtar on micro-blogging site, Twitter, captioning it, “Fun and learning evening with the Zordaar @zoieakhtar & the Zabardast @jeffbezos. Amongst those who attended the event in Mumbai were Vidya Balan, Kamal Haasan, Bhumi Pednekar, Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar, R Madhavan, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal and Rajkummar Rao, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza and Arshad Warsi.

Music maestro and Academy Award winner AR Rahman also performed at the event. He also shared a photo from the event on his Twitter account.

Bezos is in a three-day visit to India to attend Amazon India’s Smbhav summit, an Amazon India gathering for small and medium businesses in New Delhi. He promised to invest $1 billion digitising small and medium businesses in India during the event.
