Portugal insiders reveal stunning Real Madrid transfer decision

Ronaldo, 33, said after the Champions League final win last month that he is considering his future at Real Madrid. Manchester United and PSG are both interested in the Portugal international, who will captain his country at the World Cup this summer. And Portuguese newspaper Record report that the striker has confirmed he will exit the Bernabeu this summer.
According to the report, Ronaldo has strong disagreements with Real president Florentino Perez over his value to the club. Ronaldo is seeking a new contract, with Express Sport reporting earlier this week that he wants a £65m-a-year salary to remain in Madrid. Marca, meanwhile, report that his agent Jorge Mendes had showdown talks with Real Madriddirector general Jose Angel Sanchez on Tuesday - but the two camps failed to reach an agreement.
Record claim Ronaldo is unhappy the club are focusing more on trying to sign Neymar than retain him. His allies Pepe, Fabio Coentrao and James Rodriguez have all been shifted out of the side in recent years. And the final straw appears to have been Zinedine Zidane’s exit from the Bernabeu last week. The manager, who got on well with Cristiano Ronaldo, cited exhaustion as the reason for his departure shortly after winning a third straight Champions League with the club.
