Donald Trump throws paper towels to Puerto Ricans - absorb this weird moment

US President Donald Trump and first lady Melania visited a disaster relief distribution centre in Puerto Rico where he threw paper towels into the crowd.
Visiting storm-devastated Puerto Rico, US President Donald Trump took to throwing packets of paper towels to hurricane-hit residents.
The surreal scene saw the internet go into overdrive, with social media flooded by images and videos of the towel toss.
Trump had walked into a church which was serving as a supply centre for locals - many of whom had been badly hit by Hurricane Maria.
He shook hands, posed for selfies and examined some of the supplies stockpiled at the church - bags of rice, solar-powered torches, bottled water, rolls of paper towels and cans of chicken.
"Whoa! I've never seen that before," Trump said, holding up a can of chicken. "That looks kind of good. Let's start handing it out. Do you feel like this?"
But few in the camera-wielding crowd appeared to be in need of a can of chicken.
Trump passed out yellow bags of rice and then started tossing the rolls of towels into the crowd as if he were shooting free-throws. The crowd laughed and cheered him on.
When he contemplated doing the same with cans of chicken, the crowd gently told him no.
The president had earlier told Puerto Rico officials they should feel "proud" they hadn't lost thousands of lives like in "a real catastrophe like Katrina".
It's not the first time Trump has done things that have caused raised eyebrows.
CHARLOTTESVILLE - 'I OWN A HOUSE'
Speaking out following race riots in Charlottesville, Virginia, where Heather Heyer, 32, died after a car was driven into a crowd protesting against white supremacists, Trump controversially blamed both sides for the carnage.
Bizarrely, he then switched to talking about owning a house in the troubled city.
"I own a house in Charlottesville. Does anyone know I own a house in Charlottesville?"
"Oh boy, it's gonna be ... it's in Charlottesville. It is the winery. I mean, I know a lot about Charlottesville. Charlottesville is a great place that's been very badly hurt over the last couple of days.
I own actually one of the largest wineries in the United States, it's in Charlottesville".
However, it soon emerged the vineyard was actually owned by his son, Eric, and it was not one of the largest in the US.
'GREATEST SPEECH EVER'
The president launched into a bizarre speech at the Boy Scouts of America's 20th annual jamboree, attended by nearly 40,000 scouts, staff members and volunteers.
At the pulpit he raged against the "fake media", his Predecessor Barack Obama, his need for greater loyalty and his election night victory over Hillary Clinton.

In the backlash over the speech, the chief executive of the organisation apologised for "political rhetoric that was inserted into the jamboree."
However Trump then went on to claim one of their leaders called him to say his speech to them was the "greatest speech ever".
The claim was challenged by the Scouts, with a spokesperson saying the call never actually took place.
INAUGURATION CROWDS
Following his inauguration as US President, Trump boasted of his inauguration crowd size - despite photos showing it being much smaller than his predecessors' crowds.
I looked out, the field was - it looked like a million, million and a half people," he said, talking to staff at the CIA.
Trump's press secretary, Sean Spicer, at the urging of the president, went on the attack over the portrayal of the crowd size.
He accused the media of doctoring photographs to show angles with small numbers of attendees. Spicer also called Trump's inauguration "the most viewed in history."
This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration - period - both in person and around the globe."
