| Whilst in my backyard I noticed a bright yellow/orange light approaching from the west, the sun had set but sky was still bright with low broken cloud, thought first this was an aircraft with its ‘landing/take-off lights still on as I’ve seen these quite often and sometimes have seen them being switched off when passing over, as there is a busy air-corridor over us in ‘normal’ times, as it passed I did not see any wings or other navigation lights, as it moved further away it passed thro’ some thin clouds but did not continue its path but seemed to gain altitude and its brightness diminished, all this took about 1 minute so no time to photograph it, as I was still under the impression it was an aircraft, nor do I have a smart phone. |
