| We saw 2 small object rise up and fly in unison from the South over Marple Last night as we were stood at the back door as we were with the dogs in the garden. They were incredibly fast but flew erratic and split in 2 directions with one flying North towards Woodbank Park and under an incoming plane on the usual flight path. The clouds were moving so fast but there were lots of clear sky to see these crafts move with a kind of propulsion not seen on any other flying object. They were definitely mechanical rather than lanterns as they were zipping around at such speed. I was glad we were both there to witness this. I had seen some lights over Offerton the last few weeks and commented to Cath that they seemed odd but this was around 5pm and still quote light. I hope some others have seen them and I’m sure the pilot would have from the plane on the flight path over Woodbank Park.
