by Orangetown Town Clerk Candidate Robert Tompkins I'm Robert Tompkins, running on the Democratic and Women's Equality ballot lines for a one year unexpired term for Orangetown Town Clerk, Receiver of Taxes. This position collects and distributes over $200 million in property taxes, including for the Village of Nyack, and the Nyack Public Schools. This important Town Hall position acts independently on behalf of the community. It also issues permits, takes minutes, safeguards important documents, opens bids, and certifies contracts. It helps make the Town run more smoothly.
