Former French president Nicolas Sarkozy says he has “evolved” on gay marriage: “Sarkozy said he also regretted not fulfilling a 2007 election promise to establish civil unions for gay couples – a position that drew fierce criticism from many in his conservative support base. Gay marriage was legalised under Hollande in 2012. ‘I have evolved on this point,’ Sarkozy wrote.”

RIGHT WING GAYS. Log Cabin Republicans go after Hillary Clinton, accuses her of being sexist: “But Ms. Clinton has imposed the same gendered double standards on female rivals of her own. Consider how she slut-shamed and stereotyped 22-year-old Monica Lewinsky as a ‘narcissistic loony toon,’ casting Bill Clinton as the victim of sexual predation from an unstable admirer. Or how Ms. Clinton degraded other betrayed wives, mocking the pathetic, proverbial ‘little woman standing by [her] man like Tammy Wynette.’ Ms. Clinton is guilty of invoking and thus exacerbating existing gendered prejudices to discredit female competitors. So shame on Ms. Clinton.” Is referring to her as “Ms. Clinton” and not “Mrs. Clinton” supposed to be some sort of attempt at shade?
