SPIRIT DAY. Put on your purple – GLAAD takes a stand against bullying today.

ROUND 4. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will face off again tonight at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner: “The venue just 24 hours after their third and final debate is the annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York, a white-tie gala that every four years becomes a showcase for presidential politics. Tradition dictates that the candidates deliver humorous remarks poking fun at each other and themselves, a jovial custom that seems hard to envision amid such an ugly campaign.”

SPY WARE. Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway says she’s comfortable using information stolen by Russian intelligence.

TRUMP TV. Was it just launched? “…on Donald Trump’s Facebook page, which had already livestreamed a pre-debate show, followed by the debate itself for a little fewer than 200,000 people, and a post-debate program full of panels, pre-recorded bits and complete with anchors and all the other trappings of a news program, an alternate reality was being established.”

DAN SAVAGE. What if Donald Trump were gay? “If Donald Trump were a gay man who couldn’t look at prepubescent boys without imagining himself “dating” them in a few years time, if Donald Trump were a gay man who said inappropriate things about his own son in public, if Donald Trump were a gay man who plucked pretty little boys out of crowds to kiss them on their mouths… Republican pundits, elected officials, operatives, and voters wouldn’t be calling him presidential. They would use a different word entirely to describe him.”

RUSSELL AMENDMENT. It’s back: “This discriminatory provision poses great danger to LGBT people and women, and must be removed from the bill. Allowing religiously affiliated contractors and grantees to discriminate against individuals who don’t adhere to an employer’s religious tenets, isn’t right or fair. This could affect an individual in a same-sex relationship, someone who is undergoing gender transition, or a woman who is pregnant and unmarried. To think that Congress could authorize this kind of taxpayer-funded discrimination is beyond the pale.”

NEW JERSEY. Cape May City council voted Tuesday to approve $369K payout to Steve Pascal, a gay former police officer: “Pascal will receive $193,000, while his attorney gets the rest. The draft settlement said Cape May agreed to pay $50,000, though the council says it might be on the hook for less…In addition to being subjected to a hostile work environment, Pascal alleged he was harassed and threatened by citizens in the quiet beach town. On one occasion, two men ‘threatened to snap his neck in a dark alley,’ the suit said.”

SMALL CRAFT WARNINGS. A stalled speedboat faces off against an oil tanker that won’t stop.

NINTENDO SWITCH. Nintendo unveiled its new hybrid portable and home video gaming console today.

EMINEM. Getting political again with “Campaign Speech”. “The rapper doesn’t touch on the current political atmosphere until around the four-minute mark where he questions people who plan on voting for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump because of his anti-establishment rhetoric and critiques Trump’s temperament calling him a ‘loose canon.'”

JOE JONAS. Nip slip.

HOT ROD. An insane new concept car from Rolls-Royce. “It comes with laser headlights, a darkened glass canopy (slide 12,) and a larger Spirit of Ecstasy bonnet ornament (slide eight) made of handcrafted glass.”
