The beautiful Carina Law is a Chinese Actress based in Hong Kong. Known for her girl-next-door appeal and subsequently being cast in such roles for film, Carina Law started with acting classes with TVB.

She has starred in a number of films. Some of which are “Her Beautiful Life Lies” in 1989, “Days of Being Wild” in 1991, “Gigolo and Whore” in 1994, “Intimates” in 1997, and “Infernal Affairs II” in 2003. In all of these movies, she got nominations for Best Actress with the Hong Kong Film Awards. The movies “Days of Being Wild” and “Curiosity Kills the Cat” in 2006 earned her nominations for the Golden Horse Awards for Best Actress, and the latter won her the Golden Rooster Award for Best Actress. “Intimates” got her the Golden Bauhinia Award for Best Actress. More recently, “Let the Bullets Fly” in 2010 got her nominated by the Asian Film Awards for Best Actress.

There were some kidnapping scandals to her name. A notable event was in 1990 in the process of filming “Days of Being Wild”. She was missing for a few hours and photos of her without a top were taken. Financial struggles with Albert Yeung, a businessman, were believed to be the reason for the abduction. She did not ever want to talk about what happened, supposedly even to her husband, Tony Leung. In 2008, she revealed that the abduction was because of a film role she turned down. After twelve years, photos of the 1990 abduction resurfaced in an issue of East Week. The publication was shut down and resumed in 2003. The supposed culprit for the pictures getting published was jailed for five months.

1989 was when Carina Law found the love of her life, Tony Leung. The couple flew to Bhutan to get married at the Uma Paro resort, and the wedding is rumored to have cost about 30 million Hong Kong dollars.
