The web is a funny thing, but so is fame!
So anyways, I did a shoot last week with a model wearing a Dope black one piece swimwear by Stampd' LA and posted it on Instagram. There is nothing unusual in that until I started getting a lot of Instagram likes from people in China, Korea, Malaysia, etc
This was a bit puzzling to me because I normally get an average of 20 likes on my photos and this one is at 400 likes as I am typing this blog post and growing!
I did a bit of snooping around and with the help of a friend's friend I had found out that a couple of Korean superstars, Youngbeezy ( Taeyang ) and G-Dragon from the group called Big Bang ( huge following in South Korea and parts of Asia/Pacific ) had LIKED my Instagram Photo and it triggered an avalanche of likes and comments from their fans.

So now I know the cause of all the likes and comments but how did they come across my photo out of the thousands of photos that gets uploaded on Instagram every minute?
The answer my friends is simple!
The humble # hashtag
This little baby works wonders on Instagram, lol
Because I had written the hashtags of #dope and #stampdla with my Instagram photo when I posted it, they were able to see my photo as they were both following Chris Stamp and Stampd LA on Instagram.
The back story is that Youngbeezy ( Taeyang ) and G-Dragon had visited the Stampd' LA store a week or so ago and even had a few photos inside the Stampd' LA store and with Chris Stamp. So I'm assuming that they had fallen in love with the brand, hence why they liked my Instagram photo.
