Probably the most obvious update to Colorado is the redesigned front end on the ZR2 model. The front of the truck sports a burly front bumper, new headlights, and an aggressively shaped hood.

On the side profile of the truck are new tubular reinforced rocker panels and wide fender flares blanketing large off road ready wheels and tires.

Coming around to the rear of Colorado, the ZR2 trim offers an off road sports bar in the bed, a full sized bed-mounted spare, off road top-mounted LED lights, and a rugged rear bumper.

With an available option of either a 6’2” or a 5’2” bed, Colorado is sure to haul whatever you have in mind. To top it off for you off road junkies, the ZR2 model also includes both exotic spool-valve shocks and electronic locking diffs on both axles.

Nothing major has been done to the interior for 2021 Colorado, however maybe that’s for a reason. It’s clean, simple, relatively intuitive, and rugged. It hasn’t gotten the same “luxury treatment” seen in the new 2021 Suburban. In fact, 2021 Colorado ZR2’s interior is actually more reminiscent of past years Suburban/Silverado interiors.

The rear seats are pretty standard to most mid-compact trucks nowadays. Adequate room if you’re under 5’ 10”. However it is nice to see that leather seats are still available for the rear seats. There’s also some storage room underneath the rear seats, depending on cab option, which is a good place to store tools and whatever else necessary to keep you on the go.
