Beautiful ambiance, cheery bright interiors giving a decidedly French cafe look to the environs, polite and helpful staff and stunning array of Cheesecakes, croissants, pastries and cakes make one fall in love with Poetry by Love and Cheesecake the moment we enter here. While you would expect (rightly so) some of the best cheesecakes in Mumbai here, there are some extremely healthy options on the menu in the form of sandwiches, salads, soups too, each one honest to its ingredients.
Go for Caesar salad, Portobello Mushroom sandwich, Tomatillo Gazpacho and Dark Knight smoothie. Prices are on the higher side but flavors are authentic and wholesome, they have not 'Indianized' the taste in any way, ingredients are fresh and portions are enough to fill up a regular person. Among cheesecakes, Blueberry, NY style, Oreo, Salted Caramel were fantastic and a special mention goes to chocolate-filled goodness of Devil's Desire. Come with friends, open up a book to savor it all over a couple of hours and you won't be disappointed.
