Last Sunday I was in Kristianstad city and photographed some buildings. I used my Canon 10-18 mm wide angle lens that I bought from Åke a while ago. This lens is fantastic, it is possible to photograph large buildings and include the entire building in the photo.

The first house is the old savings bank house, which was completed in 1901, has been chosen Kristianstad’s most beautiful house several times. Nowadays it is a hotel, First Hotel Christian IV.

Kristianstad’s theater, inaugurated in 1906, is one of the oldest in the country still in use. There has also been a restaurant in the building and today it is also a popular disco in the building.

Kristianstad’s oldest building, Skottenborg, was built around the year 1614. The name comes from Mayor Thomas Andersen Skotte. Kristianstad was Danish until the peace in Roskilde in 1658 when it became Swedish.

I Söndags var jag i Kristianstads city och fotograferade några byggnader. Jag använde mitt Canon 10-18 mm vidvinkelobjektiv som jag köpte av Åke för ett tag sedan. Detta objektiv är fantastiskt, det går att fotografera stora byggnader och få med hela byggnaden på fotot.

Det första huset är det gamla sparbankshuset, som stod klart 1901, har valts till Kristianstads vackraste hus ett flertal gånger. Numera så är det ett hotell, First Hotel Christian IV. 

Kristianstads teater som invigdes 1906, är en av landets äldsta som fortfarande är i bruk. Det har även varit restaurang i byggnaden och idag är det också ett populärt disco i byggnaden.

Kristianstads äldsta byggnad, Skottenborg, är byggd omkring år 1614. Namnet har kommit från borgmästaren Thomas Andersen Skotte. Kristianstad var danskt fram till freden i  Roskilde 1658 då det blev svenskt.
