Another Castle photographed! I’m pretty much limited by just having a small lens at the moment, but I enjoy photographing old castles. Maltesholm Castle was built in 1635 by Danish Malte Juul, who named the castle after himself. After Scania became Swedish, Malte Ramel, who was Scania’s largest landowner, owned the castle.

Malte’s son rebuilt the castle in 1780’s style of the time, and then the castle still looks out. Unfortunately, I could not enter the courtyard to photograph the castle from the front.

Ännu ett slott fotograferat! Jag är ju rätt mycket begränsad av att för tillfället bara ha ett litet objektiv, men jag tycker om att fotografera gamla slott. Maltesholms Slott byggdes 1635 av danske Malte Juul, som namngav Slottet efter sig själv. Efter att Skåne blev svenskt ägde Malte Ramel, som var Skånes största godsägare, slottet.

Maltes son byggde om slottet 1780 i den tidens stil, och så ser slottet fortfarande ut. Tyvärr kunde jag inte gå in i borggården för att fotografera slottet framifrån.
