Nu är det officiellt vår när tranorna återvänt efter sin vintersemester. Men det var inget vidare bra väder de kom tillbaka till. Denna vintern och våren är den klart sämsta på flera decennier, jag kan inte minnas en sådan dålig vår, vädermässigt. Men man blir glad när man ser fåglarna som återvänder till oss och förhoppningsvis blir vädret snabbt bättre. Strax utanför Kristianstad finns det en plats som kallas Pulken. Där samlas flera tusen tranor och vilar upp sig innan de fortsätter sin färd norrut.
I fjol var där 8900 tranor på en och samma dag, vilket är rekord för Pulken. Alla tranor flyger inte norrut, det finns flera tranor som häckar i trakterna. Även ungfåglarna som inte bildat par än brukar stanna här och flyga omkring i vattenriket. Fotona jag tog blev tyvärr inte de bästa, vädret var dåligt så molnen täckte himlen.
Now it’s official spring when the cranes returned after their winter holiday. But there was no further good weather they came back to. This winter and spring is by far the worst for several decades, I can not remember such a bad spring, weather-like. But you will be happy when you see the birds returning to us and hopefully the weather is getting better soon. Just outside of Kristianstad there is a place called Pulken. There, several thousand cranes gather and settle up before continuing their journey north.
Last year there were 8900 cranes on one and the same day, which is a record for Pulken. All the cranes do not fly north, there are a number of cranes that nest in the area. Even the young birds who did not form couples than usually stay here and fly around in the water kingdom. The photos I took were unfortunately not the best, the weather was bad so the clouds covered the sky.
