Igår var jag ute och lekte med min väns fina schäferhund, Djenka. Jag har varit ute med henne förr, men hennes favorit leksak har varit i min bil. Det är för att jag alltid brukar köra iväg med henne till någon fin plats. Men nu i vinter är nästan allt översvämmat. Bara en bit ifrån där jag bor finns Näsby ängar, med stora ytor att springa på. Så jag tog hennes favorit leksak, en vanlig tennisboll med en kastpinne så man kan kasta bollen utan att hålla i den ner dreglade bollen.

Det var mycket svåra förhållanden att fotografera, vädret var verkligen dåligt. Molnen täckte ljuset från himlen, så det blev inte många bra foton. När vi gått en lång bit på ängen kom vi till en inhägnad betesmark som var översvämmad. Djenka som älskar vatten satte full fart, och hur mycket jag än skrek på henne, fortsatte hon. Runt betesmarkerna var det smala stålvajrar uppsatta som på sommaren är elförande, och jag var rädd att hon skulle springa in i en vajer. Men icke, hon böjde sig ner i den snabba farten och kom under. Sedan fortsatte vi leken där inne, tills hon var så trött att hon inte orkade mer. Kul hade hon hela tiden!

Yesterday I was out playing with my friend’s beautiful German shepherd, Djenka. I’ve been out with her before, but her favorite toy has been in my car. That’s because I always drive away with her to some nice place. But now this winter, almost everything is flooded. Just a little bit from where I live there are Nasby meadows, with large areas to run on. So I took her favorite toy, a regular tennis ball with a throwing stick so you can throw the ball without holding in the down drooling ball.

It was very difficult to photograph, the weather was really bad. The clouds covered the light from the sky, so there were not many good photos. As we walked a long way into the meadow, we came to a fenced pasture that was flooded. Djenka who loves water hurried, and how much I screamed at her, she continued. Around the pastures, the narrow steel wires were set up, which in the summer is electrically conducting, and I was afraid she’d run into a wire. But not, she bent down in the fast pace and came under. Then we continued to play there until she was so tired that she could not manage more. Fun she had all the time!
