Christine and Joseph are perfect together, this great connection was made clear over the course of their epic wedding day, which began in the early morning with a traditional tea ceremony at their family home in Happy Valley, Catholic ceremony at Our Lady of LaVang, and awesome reception party at Pure Space in the Pearl District.
Between the church and photos at Cathedral Park, Christine, Joseph and the rest of the bridal party took a break to grab a few drinks and food at Pine Street Market in downtown. Seeing everyone in their wedding attire, crammed onto a single table amidst a very busy food market was simply the best. I loved the juxtaposition and it was so much fun seeing them unwind a bit and enjoy time with their closest friends.
The focus of the day, especially the reception dinner, was on family and friends. As per tradition, they personally greeted every table of their 500 or so guests. Many well wishes (and toasts!) were made. It just drills home the fact that family is important — and it also signals how wonderful, supportive and strong their network is. Nothing can be more encouraging than seeing SO many people wishing you well and rooting for your continued success! Speaking of success — their choreographed first dance was a definite showstopper.
Again, a huge congratulations to these two, it was an honor and pleasure to be there to help capture the big day!
