Where oh where did my tiny Baby go? This 4 month old has some sass and personality, which we are loving seeing her grow and learn and leaps and bounds…but also missing our snuggly little baby. Élise always wants to be held up standing, because in her head, she’s totally not a baby anymore. She is always discovering new noises she can make, and has recently found her thumb and feet.

She enjoys babbling to herself, attempting to laugh, and eating her toes. Her crinkled nose, wide open Mouth “silent laugh” absolutely kills us (do I really open my mouth that big?!). Looked like the spitting image of her dad at first, but looking more and more like mama every day. She loves dancing and looking at herself in the mirror or on selfie mode on mama’s phone. We have many a video of her cooing at herself. She pulls her knees up during tummy time (which she still doesn’t love very much) so I’m sure she’ll be trying to crawl sometime soon.

Oh how you amaze us, little Élise. Je t’aimes.
