How Are Fine Art Prints Made?

Fine art prints are popular in the art world.  They are also a very vague and nebulous term.  After you learn what a Fine Art print is, you tend to wonder how such an image is created.  It's a good question to ask.  Here we have Vitaly from artprintsamerica.com who will define what giclée is and tell you how those prints are made.

It might be difficult to see in this video, but there is a significant quality difference between a fine art giclée print and that of a regular print.

So now you know how a fine art print is made.  It's a simple high end inkjet printing process which requires lots of time to get it right.  It's also printed on high quality fine art paper so that it will last for years to come without fading or discoloring.

We hope that you've enjoyed learning a little bit about the process which we use at Cramer Imaging to create your beautiful fine art prints.  If you have any more questions about the process, please check out this article.  If there's something we missed in that article, please leave your questions in the comments section below.
