If you haven’t heard about Cara Delivingne’s recent Interview with local US show Good Day Sacramento, where have you been? It was the most awkward celebrity interview in years, and it was so cringe-worthy that it viral within hours of hitting the wire.

What we absolutely love is that according to Digital Spy, the model and actress refused to apologise. She took to her Twitter account to write that "I work really really hard and love what I do, I don't feel like I need to apologise for being human #sorrynotsorry."

Cara’s not the first tinsel town resident to fall foul of the interviewers. Here are five car-crash celeb interviews that were so awkward, they shocked gossip hounds around the world:

1)      Madonna: The queen of pop set the “really awkward interview bar” when she sat down for a chat with David Letterman in 1994. She dropped more swears and f-bombs during one TV segment than we think the rest of us have in our lives!

2)      Khloe Kardashian: The lesser-known Kardashian sister one upped her Royal Madesty when she was interviewed on Australian TV. The programme had to cut the segment short and Khloe was not happy, so she decided to vent her displeasure by launching an expletive-laden rant at her poor interviewer!

3)      Cate Blanchett: The calm, cool and collected legend really lost her rag when she was interviewed for her then-latest movie Cinderella back in March 2015. The Project’s Jonathon Hyla decided to talk about something other than Cinderella and the acting luminary kicked off. Most hilariously, when Hyla asked her how she walked her cat on its lead, she responded with a simple, “is that your f****ing question?”

4)      Tom Cruise: The most awkward interview in history happened ten years ago this May and was conducted by who else, Oprah. During his chat with the queen of all media, Tom Cruise decided to show just how much he loved Katie Holmes (now they’re divorced) by jumping up and down on Oprah’s couch. His reputation never recovered.

5)      Kerry Katona: We were seriously worried when Kerry Katona appeared on This Morning back in 2009. The reality star slurred throughout the duration of the segment. Katona has since gone on record saying that it was just a side effect of her bi-polar medication, which she had decided to take later than she normally would that day.
