Amalfi Coast Proposal
How did the proposal go?
While vacationing together around the Amalfi coast, Angela and Mike, along with Mike’s two sisters, planned to see the very top point of an island called Capri. The only way to do this is to take a single passenger chair lift all the way up. Angela was afraid of the chair lift being so open and so high off the ground, so naturally, she insisted on staying behind while everyone else goes up.
Mike insistently encouraged her to go up on the lift and eventually succeeded. Twelve minutes later and 2,000 feet up, the chair lift dropped them off at the top of Monte Solaro on the Amalfi coast to see the most beautiful views the island could offer. After walking a little higher and taking in some amazing views around the top of Capri, Angela stopped at a railing to admire the island and the ocean surrounding it. Before taking a photo together, she turned around to see Mike on one knee, asking to spend the rest of her life with him.
Tell me about the details you’re most excited about for your upcoming wedding!
We have family coming in from all over the country and even out of the country for our wedding! To see our families together in one place is the most we could ever ask for our wedding.
Where are you getting married, and where is the reception? Why did you choose these locations?
After looking around at different venues, we were blown away by what Nanina’s in the Park had to offer. The venue is beautiful inside and out, and the food is above and beyond. Nanina’s will be the site for our ceremony and reception and a perfect location to complement our Amalfi Coast Proposal.
Do you have any tips or advice for other couples about to have engagement photos taken?
Relax, and have fun! Some of the photos we liked the most were the ones where we looked ourselves, even if it was because we were being a little goofy.
How was your overall session experience?
The session was exactly what we needed. We don’t take a lot of photos in general, not to mention professional photos. Gearing up for our wedding, this session helped us with what we can expect and calmed our nerves for a piece of the big day.
