Love is Marching with the Drum Instructor Read Becca and Paul's Story
Becca and Paul met while both teaching at a marching band in South Jersey and still are still involved in the Drum Corp Fusion, Paul as the percussion instructor and Becca in the color guard and now she is Marching with the drum instructor to wedding bliss.
Becca and Paul met us at the Glen Rock Arboretum for their fall engagement session. Paul’s dad volunteers, so it felt like a more personal location for them to have their engagement photos taken. We were all over the park using every nook and cranny. They seemed very comfortable in front of the camera and were very in tuned with each other and were comfortable in each other’s arms.
Becca described the Proposal “We had just gotten back from a trip to the beach a few days earlier, and all our beach chairs were in the back of the car. We finally had gone out for our 6 year anniversary dinner. It was a rainy night, and Paul had asked me to help get our things from the back of the car. I told him I would get it later, but he insisted. When I went to the back of the car, Paul had started talking, and it took me a minute to realize what was going on. He pulled out a box from his car and asked me to marry him right there!”
They told us that they are most excited about getting married at the Renault Winery as well as hosting their reception there as well. They said, “We are very excited to be getting married at a winery. It has an intimate feel, perfect for celebrating with our family and friends! We love the rustic feel it has as it is more simplistic
They said the engagement session experience “We had such a great time. It felt very casual, and we were more comfortable in front of the camera than we expected.
