The story of Tim & Allison Wedding at Seasons

Tim & Allison chose a beautiful day in April to get married. As they had stated on the morning of “ It may be cold, but at least it wasn’t raining or snowing.” We went to the bow bridge in Central Park, NYC for their engagement photos. The couple chose their childhood school St Peter’s church in River Edge, NJ to have the ceremony. This was so touching to see how the guests and even some of their old teachers came out to see them get married. Father Mike Sheehan talked about how the two of them were so close to the church. He even told everyone how Tim was an altar server as a kid. After the ceremony, we went into some of the classrooms to take photos of them in the desks.

The Reception

The formal photos were taken at their reception hall, Season’s catering in Washington township. I always love working there. The favors were handmade candle holders and cups that were made by Tim’s mother; She is so very talented. They danced a choreographed dance to their wedding song that was sung by one of their friends. They had a magical night with their family and friends. Everything was amazing and was so happy to be a part of it.

Before the wedding day, we interviewed Tim & Allison about their wedding and relationship and also why that choose to have their wedding at Seasons.

Tell us about your childhood.

Allison: “I grew up in Maywood. I went to St Peter’s Academy grade school (where I first met Tim). Then for High school, I went to IHA. Ramapo college for my undergrad and Pace for grad school. I now work at Westmed.

Tim: “ I Grew up in River Edge. Went to St Peter’s Academy grade school ( where I first met Allison). Then I went to River dell high school. I now work at Bayonne Golf Club.”

Tell us how you first met? Who what when where why? Give us the dirty Details.

“ We first met in grade school, Then after we went separate ways in high school and college, we had reunited 20 years later and then again in our early 30s.”

Tell us about the proposal. (Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out?)

“The Proposal was at our favorite hummus restaurant in the city. Then a cookie and a latte led to a walk in Central Park. He proposed on Bow Bridge in Central Park. He was super nervous on the bridge. That is why we wanted to go back there for our engagement session.”

Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.

Allison: “Tim can always put a smile on anyone’s face.”

Tim: “Allison takes care of me when I’m ill, forgives me when I’m wrong and teaches me every day how to be the best man I can be.”

Besides getting married -What is the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?

“Can’t wait to show off our new dance moves. We had been taking dance lessons. Having all of our close friends and family together.”

Why did you pick to have your Wedding at Seasons, What Attracted you.

“It was close to our childhood church. Seasons is known for their good food.”
