From Papeete, Moorea stares at you every morning and is a reference point in the endless Pacific Ocean. Moorea calls every visitor in Tahiti for a trip. Because it is less crowded, because it is greener, because it is there.

On a cloudy morning we set propellers to Moorea, with a 45 minute-long ferry trip.

Moorea is the expected postcard from Polynesia. Turquoise lagoons and resorts on palafitte

Empty roads lead towards the central caldera, which is the luxurious greenish side of the island

On the South West coast of Moorea, endless barrier reef are a few meters away from the sandy beaches

Plenty of snorkeling encounters close to Coco Beach island (movies to come). No fit for sharks? Shallow waters are there for you…
