A trip to Spinalonga

In the gulf of Mirabello, east of Iraklion, the peninsula of Kalydon is topped with the Fortress of Spinalonga. First Venetian citadel, then Arab, then leper clony, nowadays Spinalonga is a great tourist attraction reachable from Plaka or Elounda or Agios Nikolaos.
