Another Blackpool Scene

Yet again I’ve failed to do any photography this week. Instead, I spent the week writing tutorials and working on ideas for YouTube videos. This isn’t a good track record for a photographer, although I have completed the second draft of a new Lightroom book which I Hope to release soon.

Given my poor showing photographically, I’ll share another Shot from my trip to Blackpool over the Christmas period. I seem to have managed a few that I like.

I shot this towards the end of the day when the sun was low. For some reason, it just reminded me of the hazy light you get on the beach at Santa Monica.

Blackpool Beach Sunset

This is a handheld shot using the Panasonic G9 micro four-thirds camera. The lens is a Leica 12-60 at 27mm for a 1/250” at f/8.0 and ISO200. I didn’t use any filters for this one either.

I hope you like the shot and have a great weekend.
