Marketing With Photo Sharing Websites (Bonus)

In the first 4 parts to this blog series, you learned the basics needed to market your business through Photo Sharing Websites. If you have not absorbed this information and posted your first photos, do that now.

The purpose of this post is to encourage you to use an asset you have that is usually overlooked when promoting your newly created photo webpages on these Photo Sharing sites. That asset is all of the people who are excited about what you are doing and want you to grow and succeed. Who are these people? Here is a list of a few:

  • Current customers
  • Current vendors
  • Co-workers/employees
  • Professional network
  • Friends
  • Family

What can these interested parties do that would help promote your photos?

  • Discuss and share the links to your photos with their social networks
  • Submit positive comments for your photos they like
  • “Favorite” your photos that catch their attention
  • Add favorite photo pages and your profile page to their online bookmarking sites
  • Include links to your photo/profile webpages in blog posts they write

Leverage the efforts of those around you to get more attention to the photos you post on photo Sharing Websites.

Milestone Reached: 450 Workouts and Counting!

Today I reached a milestone worth celebrating! This morning I went for my usual 30 minute daily run and, as usual, I recorded it using a phone app. When I completed my run 30 minutes later I checked my mileage for the month and noticed I had hit 450! That’s 450 workouts, 125,866 calories burned and 854.9 miles since I started recording October 11, 2010!
