1940 Pontiac

The Pontiac automobile was established in 1926. Within General Motors, the folks that built the Pontiac had special pride in the way they turned out. In 2009, due to financial hassles GM discontinued manufacturing the car.

That is a shame!  Many good Pontiac factory workers lost their jobs. It seems like they were scapegoats.

Anyway, this cool and classic car was photographed at a car show that was held in the rain in Newport, Oregon.

This image was processed in High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR). Five different exposures were combined into one to give the image more depth. It was raining quite hard when this photo was taken and that should show up in the image.
