A Beautiful Mango Farm That You've Never Heard In Your Life..

The Lookout Tower.
Recently I had the chance to visit and photograph a Mango Farm in Tobiar, Kedah. Well, it is a large mango farm run by the federal government's agency, Malaysian Agricultural Development Agency or "MADA". With the size of 41 hectare, this is the biggest mango farm in Malaysia. You can enjoy a tram ride around the farm, climb the lookout tower and enjoy the aerial view and also watch the mangoes being processed at the processing center. We were there during the flowering season, so there are the yellow hues among the trees of the flowers, which is observable in the photos.

The Tram.
The farm is indeed beautiful, surrounded by green Paddy Fields. The only surprising problem is that the public is not really aware of it's existence, even most of the locals. Well, the farm is not observable from the main road, and there is only one small route leading to the farm which is easily missed among the paddy fields. A minor problem actually.

Currently, the farm is actually gearing up into agro tourism business. I liked the idea as it blends with the surrounding paddy fields and the water buffalo ranch nearby. Hope this will work out and will add something new on the Kedah map.
