Wild Flowers and a Salamander | California |Fuji X100s

Tags: fuji minimal
It's been a month now since I have started using the Fuji x100s. I have to admit it is a little frustrating as I have been used to a pretty simple Fuji x30 as my daily. Broken in, I can appreciate it's limitations and mine. Shooting at just 35mm takes control on how you compose and that takes me back 40 years to my Yashica rangefinder. The main aspect is that I can still shoot strobist with minimal kit and cheap parts. I don't fire off a lot of pictures as Wi Fi is non existent so when I download its minimal. Macro , I am beginning to like a lot more. So, as a camera that slips into a jacket pocket , its perfect.
