Samsung NX1| Family Photoshoot | Eastney

I have had the pleasure of photographing Ade and Claire and Family for their annual session. The great thing about having "some talent" with a Camera that you get to see families grow and although in the early years it was a bit of struggle for the Kids to run around on a Sunday morning to the camera , it has got a lot better with the Kids getting older. Even Phoebe knows its posing time now ! We shot these at Eastney Beach at low tide in early December. Wonderful afternoon light and one flash gun to assist the in-fill ( using a 1/4 Orange CTO gel) we knocked out some nice pictures for the annual calendar. The camera was a  Samsung NX1 with a 16mm pancake and 50-200mm zoom for a few shots . I am a Fuji X30 user , but brought the Samsung out of retirement to keep my hand in. You don't need much to take portraits...go out and do it.

I also attached the Samsung 360 Gear to the camera to show how a shoot goes. Instead of the usual turnaround with the mouse, I have left both lenses open so you can see the image and what is going on behind it. I am begining to like this view , as it gives a good overview without the faff...its also user friendly
