Dorset wedding photographer 2016 review

Dorset Wedding photographer 2016 review continues with this wedding of Steve and  Sam. A lovely day which had bride prep and onto the Christchurch Priory and then onto the Harbour Heights hotel. I love this first photo during Sam’s bride preparations as this is the moment when the bride finally sees herself all finished and ready for the dress. The makeup artist is looking pleased also that Sam is so happy with the results. I love the joy in the eyes and expression with the hands.

TOP TEN TIPS FOR A PERFECT WEDDING DAY

Bride prep is not just about the bride and being the fly on the wall for her but also recording other moments throughout the morning and this shot sums up the reportage moments allot of brides are looking for. There are lots of these moments during the mornings and so this just shows its not just all about the bride prep and dress and shoes shots and other small detail shots its everything going on during the morning prep. Are the Bananas in the background symbolic of the bridesmaids? You decide.

Another crucial moment of many in a general wedding day work of a wedding photographer. The moment when the bride arrives and this moment when Sam is checking things out at the Priory and she is very dynamically composed in shot framed by the car window and of to the left of shot and looking into the rest of the empty frame. This is done to reinforce that Sam is looking specifically at something, it does not matter what, it is her frame of mood of the moment.

A very traditional moment captured as it is at most weddings, the confetti shot outside the entrance to Christchurch Priory. I organized all the guests into an avenue and then Sam and Steve did the walk that has been done by so many other couples throughout the history of the Christchurch Priory in Dorset.

TOP TEN TIPS FOR A PERFECT WEDDING DAY

There were so many amazing images to choose from for Sam and Steve’s wedding but this one I picked out as the most dynamic and dramatic image from the day, a low viewpoint to make the most of the dress and the exposure to render the light from outside the doorway as over exposed and giving a halo effect to both bride and groom, enhancing the romantic feel.

TOP TEN TIPS FOR A PERFECT WEDDING DAY

To finish off with this Dorset Wedding Photographer Review, Sam and Steve were lucky enough to get an amazing sunset image. Harbour Heights hotel is just a few seconds in the car down to Poole Harbour where the best Dorset sunsets can be found on semi regular basis. With the veil on full show and the kiss and that burning hot colorful sky.
