9. Choose the right ceremony time for you.

From 2017 things are going to change for the better, as you won’t need a wedding registrar for a legally binding ceremony! Weddings that have a 11-1pm Ceremony time, can feel very rushed and often will stress brides out on the morning of the big day. Many brides have been forced by registrars availability to have a too early ceremony for them!

8. Stick to your hair/makeup trial decision.

On the odd occasion I have seen brides on their Bride Prep either get asked about other looks or changes, resist the urge- don’t change your mind! Every time I see this happen, the bride has negative thoughts and generally gets stressed! Who needs that hassle?

7. The day before, send emails/texts to your important suppliers!

Photographers, Videographers, Cars, Florists and any others you may start to stress about on the morning of your wedding. I have known florists, hairdressers and makeup artists running late and even other suppliers not turning up at all! Don’t be shy about phoning them on the morning if your really worried, but hopefully you have hired very experienced professionals.

6. Keep young children (yours and others) away from bride prep.

Young kids under 5 and some under 10s, as most of us know can be quite demanding, requiring attention most of the time. Under 5s also get easily stressed with lots of strangers about and also over tired with the adults full of excitement. Give someone the important duty of taking care of the kids, so you can concentrate on yourself, and keep calm.
